Misty's sells exclusively Near Mint. We don't list lightly-played, played, or damaged cards anywhere on the site.
What “Near Mint” means here
Sharp corners, clean edges, no whitening, no scratches on holos, perfectly centered surface. A Near Mint card looks like it just came out of the pack — fresh enough to slab if you wanted to.
Why we made the call
Played cards are a personal-taste market. Two collectors can disagree on whether a small edge ding pushes a card from LP to Played, and that disagreement leads to bad customer experiences. We'd rather be the shop that sets one bar and meets it every time.
How we grade
- Every card is inspected by hand under direct light, both sides.
- Holos go through a second pass at an angle to catch surface scratches.
- If a card is borderline, it doesn't get listed. We err on the side of stricter.
- Ships in a top-loader inside a sleeve — same packaging whether your order is one card or fifty.
If a card arrives below NM
Email us within 7 days with a photo. We'll either swap it for an actual Near Mint copy if we have one in stock, or refund the full purchase price. We cover return postage.
